One of the best cinematic experiences I’ve had in a long time . . . That’s truly all I can say about attending a screening of Audrey Hepburn’s iconic film, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, at one of San Diego’s most unique little theatres called, Cinema Under the Stars. It’s totally okay and normal to be envious about the fact that I got to sip wine and watch Audrey in all of her fabulous Givenchy looks on the big screen amongst fellow classic film enthusiasts.
I was introduced to this lovely place by a friend who never disappoints when she invites me on a new adventure. I LOVED the cozy and nostalgic environment – we’re talking reclining seats, heaters, and complimentary pillows and throw blankets! Located in the trendy neighborhood of North Park, I highly recommend everyone attend the Cinema Under the Stars at some point this summer. Even if you’re not a classic movie buff, it’s intimate atmosphere and hole-in-the-wall presence will fascinate you to point of writing a blog post all about it!
Feel free to take a look at my evening with Audrey at the Cinema Under the Stars:
You can’t have neon lights & expect me NOT to take photos.
Complimentary Bugs Bunny cartoon before the film, priceless.
I’m here for the BIG SHOW!
Beautiful entrance art inspired by the one & only, Audrey Hepburn
