Urban Outfitters Haul – Spring 2017

Hello fashion lovers! (Insert smiley face with sunglasses emoji)

Today, I bring you my very first fashion haul from one of my favorite stores, Urban Outfitters.

I have been shopping at Urban Outfitters since I was fourteen years old and I genuinely love this retailer. So much so, that I even started working for them!

Now, (before I go on a tangent about how much working at Urban Outfitters has changed my life) let’s just jump into the clothing!

Guess Logo Long-Sleeve Tee – $49.00 in XS

The very first article of clothing I want to highlight from this haul is the Guess Logo Long Sleeve Tee in Dark Yellow. Oh Mah Gawd – this top is EVERYTHING. Let me be the first to say that I am not normally a huge fan of the color yellow, but this shirt is one of those very rare exceptions where I know I can rock yellow. It’s very unique and I love the vintage wear on the logo. Usually logos are designed with crisp lines and pristine detail, but I appreciate the infamous Guess triangle looking a bit distressed and imperfect! However, buyer beware, it runs extremely big. I almost wish they offered a XXS size option, but I can definitely make the XS work.

Out From Under Plunging Turtleneck Bodysuit – $39.00 in S

My next item is very trendy and a little on the ~saucy~ side. . . This bodysuit is incredibly soft and comfortable. I love wearing sweaters with open v-shaped necklines and attached chokers, but this is my first time ever purchasing something with similar detailing that wasn’t just another pullover sweater. I intend to style this bodysuit with a pair of high-waisted skinny jeans and an Ariana Grande-esque ponytail. To me, this bodysuit is essentially a modern-day version of a plain black turtleneck – think Steve Jobs if he were a strong, independent woman trying to start a fashion blog. And before you say anything, yes, I do realize how strange that sounds! However, I think you get the idea.

Kimchi Blue Theo Fuzzy Dolman Sweater – $69.00 in XS

Now, this would not be a true ” Perla ” fashion haul without some sort of cozy sweater! Anyone who knows me, knows I love me a good sweater. This particular pullover stood out because it is SO fantastically soft. According to the Urban Outfitters website, it is made from only cotton and nylon, both of which are great textiles with a soft hand. Although summer is right around the corner and temperatures are going to start rising, this sweater is still lightweight enough to style with a lace bralette and a pair of shorts. I can totally imagine myself wearing this to a beach bon fire on a cooler summer night.

Embroidered Rose Mary Jane Flats – $18.00 in 7

I have officially invested in new flats – yay! It has been on my to-do list for almost a year now, but I finally managed to find a pair of flats that I feel madly in love with. So madly in love, that I purchased these shoes in both black and white! I know, I know – it’s a fashion no no to buy the same item in multiple colors. But, IDGAF. I love these shoes and I have been obsessed with embroidery all season long. I was so ecstatic to find a pair of cute shoes that are comfortable and displayed my undying love of roses, I almost feel like they were designed just for me! This is my first time purchasing a pair of Urban Outfitters’ Mary Jane Flats and I would definitely recommend to anyone who’s intrigued!

Look at how beautiful the white version of these shoes are as well: FullSizeRender (56).jpg

Rosebud Pin – $10.00

Last, but certainly not least, my adorable Rosebud pin! Now, I must be honest – I was not diggin’ the whole pin trend for a while. I thought they were relatively useless and easy to lose, so I never in a million years thought I’d be including a pin in a fashion haul. BUT, as the universe likes to prove me wrong, I converted and I cannot get enough of floral pins. I still think emoji pins and certain types of pins are horrible, but a rosebud is a beautiful accent to add to a denim jacket or backpack! I love this pin and it was very inexpensive for the quality. I plan to start a floral-themed collection of pins that I can either cluster together or wear individually on my jackets and sweaters.

I hope you enjoyed reading about my recent purchases from UO! Make sure to keep a lookout on my Instagram @YourGirlChase for future photographs featuring these pieces!
