Spring Fashion Haul ft. Madewell, Brandy Melville, Forever 21, & UO

Hello friends! Boy, it’s been a while since I’ve been this excited about a fashion haul . . .

It’s that special time again where I decided to drop waaay too much money on a bunch of super cool shit from a few of my favorite stores. As you could probably tell from the title of this post, in this haul you will see some amazing new pieces from Madewell, Brandy Melville, Forever 21, and Urban Outfitters. Believe it or not, it’s been a hot minute since I went shopping for clothing and accessories, so I figured why not treat myself – you only live once, right? All of these wonderful pieces were purchased on a recent trip to Fashion Valley, a.k.a. San Diego’s ultimate shopping destination, and you can definitely expect to see all of these things styled in future photo shoots!

Ok, without further adu, let’s jump into the fun stuff and talk about ~fashion~

Madewell Wide-Leg Crop Jeans in Frida Wash – $128.00 in size 24

Damn. These jeans are literally life changing. I haven’t been this infatuated with denim in such a long time. I finally decided to take plunge and drop 130 bucks on these jeans after trying them on for the second time and realizing that I just HAD to have them. As someone who barely measures up to 5’5, it can be a little intimidating to wear extremely trendy styles and cuts. However, I feel with the right pair of shoes and a bit of confidence, these are quickly going to become my go-to bottoms for summer!

Brandy Melville Karla Dress – $38.00 in size Small

This dress just screams picnic at the beach! I love the classic gingham print and feminine cut of this dress – although I must admit this is my very first experience ever buying something from Brandy Melville that isn’t a casual t-shirt or comfy sweatpants. As I was trying on this dress in the fitting room, I could tell that the fabric and stitching is not the BEST quality, but I can envision myself getting a ton of use out of it during summertime. A for effort, Brandy Melville!

Forever 21 Knotted Muscle Tee – $10.90 in size Small

This top is a prime example of an easy buy. What I mean by ” easy buy ” is:

a. It looked cute on the rack

b. The quality seemed acceptable

c. The price was right

d. Lastly, it looked good on my body!

There wasn’t much thought put into this purchase, but I will say that the color is by far what initially drew me to this top. I wasn’t always a fan of yellow, but there’s something about certain clothing in deep yellow, mustard-type hues that I just can’t pass up! This tee was also available in red, but I felt that this color was much more unique and would look *sensational* paired with my new Madewell jeans!

Forever 21 Hoop Earring Set – $4.90 in Silver & Gold

If there was ever a purchase that was inspired by the queen, Lana Del Rey, this is it. Lana has been known to wear some pretty extravagant hoops and after a seemingly endless search to find something similar, I’ve finally found a set that has various sizes of hoops! Realistically, I probably could’ve purchased a single set of hoops in a lot of places, but this set of five was just under $5. I will note that this set was available in both gold and silver, so I bought both! It’s safe to say I’m pretty much set on hoops from here on out.

Urban Outfitters Note To Self by Connor Franta – $24.00

Aside from my new Madewell jeans, this is probably the thing I’m most obsessed with from this haul. As soon as I laid eyes on this book, I knew I had to have it. It was so beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, it almost feels as though I took part in designing it. I have yet to actually sit down and read it because I am already in the midst of a different book (I’d hate to overlap my literature!), Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman. But trust me when I say that I’m excited for the day I get to discover what it’s fully about. Others have told me that it’s written by a YouTube star who suffered with identity crisis and anxiety, which only makes me all the more curious . . .

But seriously, can we just take a moment to appreciate how IG-worthy this dang book is? (insert clapping hands emoji)

I hope you enjoyed reading about my recent purchases! Make sure to keep a lookout on my Instagram @YourGirlChase for future photographs featuring these pieces!
