November 2017 Beauty Favorites

Hello friends and fam!

Holy shit – we have officially reached the end of November. This means not only am I actively living my 22nd year of life, but that 2018 is literally creeping around the corner. Idk if I’m ready for the new year! I’ve made so many unique memories so far and as I sit in the comfort a local coffee shop reminiscing about 2017, I am coming to realize that at least there is one final month left to make 2017 even more memorable.

Now that I have completed going through an introspective crisis – let’s get into the fun stuff!

Herbivore Blue Tansy AHA + BHA Resurfacing Clarity Mask – $48

Alright friends, this mask is the REAL DEAL. I debated on investing in this product for quite a while before I finally gave in to the hype and boy am I glad I did. This mask is a true game-changer for anyone suffering from stubborn texture and acne. After a few uses of this mask – my skin actually started noticeably clearing up and it’s given me more confidence which I consider to be the most priceless result. I genuinely feel like Herbivore products never let me down and this luxurious mask is no exception.

Morphe Continuous Setting Spray – $15

I would like it to be known that this is the very first Morphe product I’ve ever used and I NEVER ever would’ve expected to like such a unique setting spray. My darling makeup obsessed best friend who shall remain anonymous gifted me this product for my birthday and I was very pleasantly surprised.

Unlike most setting sprays, this one comes in an aerosol can and it’s the finest mist I’ve ever experienced. Now, I am a true makeup hoarder. I have literally tried almost every major setting spray on the market from MAC Fix Plus to Urban Decay All Nighter and this Morphe Continuous Setting Spray is by far the most lightweight formula ever. If you hate feeling drenched after applying your normal setting spray, I recommend giving this one a try. For the price point, I think it deserves an A++!

Drunk Elephant Beste No.9 Jelly Cleanser – $34

Similar to the last fave item, this is also my very first time trying out a product from the prestigious brand, Drunk Elephant. SO many of my favorite YouTubers and beauty influencers rave about Drunk Elephant skin care but the price points have always scared me away from actually making a purchase. The thing that drew me to this specific cleanser (aside from the fact that I needed a new one or else my skin would hate me lol) is that it is free of fragrances and actually serves as a great makeup remover! I love me a good daily face wash that can help dissolve any leftover traces of makeup.

Simple Micellar Make-Up Remover Wipes – $7.99

If you wear a full face of makeup and you like to take it off at the end of a very long day – these wipes are for you! I swear by these makeup removing wipes and they are the only form of makeup remover that I took with me while camping at an outdoor rave over the summer. If that alone doesn’t speak volumes about how ~amazing~ they are, then idk what will!

Stila Cosmetics Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in Diamond Dust – $24

For those who follow me on IG and wanted to know what eyeshadow/highlight I wore on my birthday – this is it! I am drop dead obsessed with the Magnificent Metals Liquid Eye Shadow line from Stila Cosmetics. These liquid eye shadows are the perfect and easy way to amplify literally any makeup look for a special occasion. I would HIGHLY recommend these for parties, date nights, proms/dances, and just about any moment when you want to shine (insert the star emoji here lol). I know it may seem a bit expensive to invest $24 on a single shade, but if you had to choose just one I’d encourage you to try Diamond Dust and it is a true silver that is universally flattering! Trust me, this product is worth every penny.

Ok friends, that wraps up my last monthly faves of 2017! Stay posted on next month’s blog post where I will pick my YEARLY faves. It’s going to be epic af.
