My Tips To Grow (Ridiculously Long) Healthy Hair!

Hello friends and fam and people who want to have insanely long hair!

In case you haven’t noticed – my hair pretty much takes up my entire life. It’s arguably become one of my signature features and I CONSTANTLY receive questions regarding whether or not my hair is natural. Truth: It sure fucking is.

I have had long hair for years and my hair typically grows at least 6-8 inches per year. Must be something to do with those hispanic/persian/italian roots, am I right?

Well, for those who want to know what I personally do to keep my hair healthy and long, I wanted to dedicate an entire blog post to the products and routine I’ve carried in hopes that you will achieve whatever length hair you desire!

Without further adu – here ya go:

Shea Moisture Argan Oil & Almond Milk Smooth & Tame Shampoo/Conditioner – $11.49 each

Ok friends – this is pretty much the ONLY shampoo/conditioner line that I use. It smells like the greatest candle in the entire world, plus it’s organic af. I try my best to only use products on my hair that are made with mostly (if not all) natural ingredients. Please refrain from judging me when I say that I wash my hair either once or twice per week with these two and it’s great! If you’re planning on picking up these products – check out either CVS or Ulta because they tend to run BOGO 1/2 off promotions on the Shea Moisture brand all the time.

Moroccan Oil Treatment in Original – $44.00

If you want your hair to grow so long that you can literally sit on it – you need to keep it hydrated and very, very smooth. This Moroccan Oil treatment oil is a relatively new part of my hair care routine, but it’s already done wonders for my locks. I like to use this immediately out of the shower by taking a small (emphasis on SMALL) amount, warming it up between my hands, and then running it through the ends of my hair. It’s best to do this when your hair is damp so each and every strand can truly retain the moisture and feel super silky.

I know this product can seem a little expensive , but I low-key know that Sephora sometimes offers sample sizes and like I just mentioned – a little goes a looong way. If you’re serious about having Rapunzel-like hair, then it’s always a good idea to invest in quality products that will give you genuine results.

Batiste Dry Shampoo – $7.99

Last, but certainly not least: dry shampoo. If you’re a busy motherfucker like me, then this is going to be your best friend.

I used to not believe in dry shampoo and genuinely thought it was pretty gross. That opinion quickly changed after a close friend of mine gifted me a small sample size can of Batiste dry shampoo and it changed the hair care game for me. The concept of this product is to elongate the time between hair washes and it’s seriously become a lifesaver! I’m not necessarily encouraging you to avoid showering or washing your hair – I’m just saying that if you literally can’t find the time, this will help your hair look just a little bit fresher.

This product comes in a thousand and one diffrent scents, but I typically never stray from using either the Original or Fresh scents. Honestly Batiste, why the fuck would anyone want their hair to smell like cherries and rainbows? I ain’t 12.

Ok, I think that is all I have to say about my hair! The reality is, I don’t do much to my hair on an everyday basis. In my opinion, the less you fuss with your hair – the quicker and healthier it will grow. Trust me 🙂

Thnak you so much for reading and I’ll see you next time!
