So, here we are ladies and gents.
The end of 2018 is here and I can’t help but find myself drowning in my feelings as I look back on all of the photographic souvenirs I gathered for this post. I wanted to collect a few of my favorite Polaroid pictures that were taken throughout different times of 2018 and reminisce about one of the most compelling years of my 23 year-old life.
I hope you’ll enjoy taking a quick stroll down memory lane with me.
Also, If you’re interested in accompanying these momentos with some sentimental (and admittedly sappy) stories, please feel free to check out my most recent podcast episode, Thank You 2018, Next on YourGirlChase: The Podcast! My podcast is free and always available on iTunes, Spotify, and Anchor.
With all that said, let’s just get into the Polaroids!
A shot from my last official photo shoot of 2018. This is one of my absolute favorites. Outfit, location, and photographer were all on point.
Polaroid taken by Mallory Plemons aka @DenimWrangler
A shot of me and one of my dearest friends aka professional hype beast and Gucci aficionado, Eric C., taken during a gloomy summer afternoon in Balboa Park.
A shot of me and my soul sister, Carly Plemons aka @VeggieGhoul, acting like a pair of tourists and sitting on the beautiful Ocean Beach Pier.
Photo was taken by a complete stranger whom really thought we were visiting from South Dakota.
Polaroid shots taken on the night of my rave son, Jake aka @JakeBet, first rave. #ProudRaveMom over here!
We saw Gryffin at the Hollywood Palladium in late November and it was one of the most lovely weekends of my young life.
A shot from early 2018. This was taken fresh off of my infamous 11 inch haircut sometime in late February or early March.
And those, ladies and gentlemen, were some of my favorite Kodak (or Polaroid) moments of 2018.
This year I decided to take a step back from pretending to be a beauty/fashion/whatever blogger and invest more into the people who made my heart fly. I’m unbelievably excited and eager to see what the new year has in store – and I certainly intend to stop and take some photos along the way. I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you in 2019. 🙂
